Thank you for your interest in this piece of art.

This print is part of a series I have called Mountain Phenom. Each piece has been an essential element in a collection that reflects my connection to nature.

Four separate mountain ranges have raised me:

the Rockies, where I was born and to which I see as a friend that began my life and the place I spent half of my youth; the San Juan range, where I truly became a person. I spent most of my teenage years with these mountains, developing a love for the outdoors. It’s also where I first started climbing. Then, there’s the Wind River range, where I discovered who I wanted to be and the life I aspired to lead. Lastly, the Sierra Nevada mountains here in Bishop, California, where I found my people and my home.

In this series, I attempt to capture peaks in each range that resonate with me. I choose to blend this experience with a strong female figure who represents strength, confidence, and excitement because that is what I have gained from these mountains. Climbing these peaks has allowed me to explore my own confidence and individuality. So, when I look at them now, I see the beauty of a mountain and the woman I have become because of my time spent exploring who I want to be among them.

Each piece begins with an archival-quality approach—there is no rushing or cutting corners here. I meticulously review every file to ensure the final result remains faithful to the original work. Whenever I can, I keep the printing process local to Bishop, keeping things rooted in our community. Once the work is ready, I handle it with immense care, adding my personal signature before packing it up for you. Treating every print with the same respect as an original is deeply important to me, as I know it is an original piece for your home.

If you’re looking to have your new piece of art framed, be sure to purchase a frame here

My artwork is printed on high-quality archival paper and is designed to be framed traditionally, rather than stretched or mounted on canvas. Framed prints are finished with a mat and placed in a regular frame, creating a clean, classic presentation that lets the artwork—and the landscape it represents—take center stage.

Prints are available framed or unframed. If you choose an unframed print, it will be carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube, ready for you to frame yourself. If you choose to frame your print, it will arrive ready to hang and will include the appropriate mat, frame, protective glazing, and hanging hardware. All prints are made to order, so please allow a little extra time for your artwork to be carefully prepared.

Your shipping total is determined by your geography and will be tallied during checkout. For those who share my home in Bishop, I invite you to select local pickup instead—we can easily coordinate a moment for you to swing by the studio and collect your new artwork.

Because I manage every aspect of this studio on my own, I am unable to facilitate returns; the logistical weight of return shipping and inventory management is simply too much for a small operation to carry. If a piece arrives and something feels amiss, please reach out to me directly—your experience matters deeply, and I want to help however I can. I kindly ask that you review your selection with care before finalizing your purchase, as all sales are considered final once they leave my hands.

Meet the Artist

’m Krystina, an artist, designer, and mountain guide based in Bishop, California. I’ve spent years exploring the Eastern Sierra on foot, on skis, and with a rope, and the landscape has become a huge part of how I see the world. My artwork is inspired by the places I love, the small details I notice while moving through them, and the feeling of being outside—whether that’s standing beneath a huge granite wall, wandering through the desert, or watching the light change across the mountains.

Painting has become a way for me to slow down and pay attention to those moments. I work primarily in watercolor, creating pieces that celebrate the landscapes, colors, and little pieces of wildness that make a place feel like home. These paintings are a way to share a bit of that connection with you and hopefully bring some of that mountain magic into your own space.
